About the Role:
As part of our professional driving team, you will operate a range of specialist vehicles across London and the surrounding areas, supporting commercial, construction and waste management operations. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation, collection and delivery of waste, recycling materials and associated equipment, while maintaining the highest standards of customer service, compliance and road safety.
Typical duties will include:
- Operating specialist HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and professionally
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Ensuring all loads are transported securely and in accordance with company procedures
- Delivering excellent customer service on-site and at customer locations
- Adhering to all driving regulations, health and safety procedures and environmental standards
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation where required
- Working closely with transport planners, site teams and management to ensure smooth operations

What We're Looking For:
We are seeking drivers who:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Hold a valid CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Have good knowledge of London and the surrounding areas
- Take pride in vehicle safety, presentation and cleanliness
- Can work professionally with customers, site staff and colleagues
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality and attention to detail
- Are committed to working safely and maintaining high operational standards
Experience within waste management is preferred but not essential. Additional experience operating RoRo vehicles, skips, tippers, dustcarts or other specialist waste and recycling equipment would be highly advantageous.
Applicants that do not live within a reasonable travelling distance to the Operating Centre will not be considered for the role.
