Westminster School is seeking a passionate and fluent French Language Assistant to join our vibrant Modern Languages Department on a part‑time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop students’ oral proficiency in French, working almost exclusively in the target language to create an immersive and engaging linguistic experience.
  • Teach primarily KS4 pupils in small groups and KS5 students in one‑to‑one sessions, pairs, or small groups.
  • Collaborate with class teachers to ensure oral lessons complement the wider curriculum and the department’s overall teaching approach.
  • Contribute to societies, events and activities that enrich students’ engagement with language learning.

  • Fluency in French.
  • Strong literacy skills and a deep understanding of French‑speaking societies and cultural issues.
