Overview

The role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technician with a strong interest in Biology to support the high-achieving Science Department at Westminster School.

Responsibilities

The Biology Technician will assist in the preparation and delivery of practical lessons, provide essential support to teachers and pupils during experiments, maintain stock and equipment, and ensure laboratories remain safe and well-organised.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a technician in a life sciences laboratory, either in education or industry.
  • Solid understanding of best practice health and safety procedures.
  • Strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrable passion for Biology.

Working Hours

Full-time Monday to Friday term time only, with occasional Saturday work on a rota basis (no more than nine Saturdays per year).
