Westminster School is looking for a Recruitment and Onboarding Assistant to provide support to the busy People Department. The role will focus primarily on recruitment and onboarding, during a period of expansion, but will also provide some general HR Administration support. The job offers a unique opportunity to play a central role in supporting the recruitment function at Westminster School and Westminster Under School. Recruitment across both schools primarily relates to appointing teaching staff, but also includes any staff required to support the school as a whole. The role offers the opportunity to gain experience recruiting across a range of sectors.
Excellent organisational skills, good communication skills and the ability to work within a team are essential. The successful applicant will also have the confidence to communicate with staff, job applicants and new starters effectively. This role may suit those looking to gain experience in Recruitment and HR. Previous experience of working in administration is essential, as is formal education to at least A-Level or equivalent. Integral to the role is an understanding of confidentiality in the context of human resources, and awareness of equality and diversity in relation to recruitment and the workplace.
