We are a dynamic property management company based in London’s Canary Wharf with a diverse portfolio that includes residential, hotel, and commercial properties. We are dedicated to maximizing the value of our real estate assets. We are seeking a commercially minded Commercial Real Estate Lawyer to join our legal team and contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal expertise in commercial real estate transactions, including sales, acquisitions (asset and corporate), and property development projects.
  • Manage and resolve real estate litigation matters, including landlord and tenant disputes, in a proactive and cost-effective manner.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review commercial leases, ensuring our interests are protected and aligned with our business objectives.
  • Negotiate and draft commercial and supplier contracts, safeguarding the company's interests and maintaining strong relationships with partners and vendors.
  • While not essential, prior experience in hotel-related real estate matters will be highly beneficial.
  • Ad hoc legal advice and duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial real estate matters.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions.
  • Proven experience in sales/acquisitions, and real estate litigation.
  • Expertise in landlord and tenant disputes, as well as commercial lease negotiations.
  • Proficient in contract negotiation and drafting.
  • Hotel real estate experience (beneficial).

Working Hours

Hybrid – Four days Office based role, with one day working Monday – Friday (9.00am to 5.30pm) from home.

Compensation Package

£70k - £80k per annum depending on experience.

Annual Leave

25 days. Option to join Holiday Trading Scheme, up to a maximum of 5 additional days per Leave year.

Private health cover.

Five percent Employer Pension Contribution on qualified earnings, increasing by 1% each year, capped at 10%.
