We’re currently hiring Registered Nurses at Westminster Communities of Florida. We have several vibrant senior life plan communities within the Westminster Communities of Florida family. With more than 7,000 residents and 2,500 team members, we offer a full continuum of care including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, home care, pharmacy services, and affordable housing. Shifts Available: We have full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts available providing flexibility to accommodate your schedule.
Compensation and Benefits: For this position, the expected hourly rate is $34.95 - $41.11 per hour, depending on qualifications. Plus, many shifts offer a shift differential. Benefit information for full and part time team members can be viewed HERE.
In this role, you will:
- Assist in planning resident care by following physician orders.
- Implement resident care based on physician orders.
- Evaluate care and communicate with doctors for updates of orders.
- Administer medication, IVs, give shots, update patient records, provide emotional support, patient education, basic diagnostics, and other patient procedures for residents.
- Receive and transcribe orders from attending physicians.
- Monitor blood glucose, temperature, and blood pressure when necessary.
- Respond to all emergencies.
- Schedule doctor’s appointments and coordinate transportation for the residents.
- Includes scheduling labs and transcribing lab results.
Qualifications you possess:
- Current Florida Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- One year of long-term care desirable
