MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - FULL TIME

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster Services and its communities.
  • Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Perform basic functions that are mechanically inclined with hand tools and operate power tools.
  • Change light bulbs, A/C filters, filters, and ceiling tiles.
  • Hook-up sinks and toilets/urinals.
  • Take temperature readings and boiler room readings. Test generator and other equipment & pumps.
  • Repair minor leaks less than 1” in diameter.
  • Assist as required Maintenance Mechanic/Engineer with major projects.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in carpentry.
