Westminster Communities of Florida, a nationally recognized not-for-profit church-related organization, is seeking an experienced Service Coordinator for its affordable housing communities in Downtown Orlando. The Service Coordinator is responsible for conducting person-centered assessments to understand the needs of residents and developing and modifying the required services. The main objective is to link the residents in the community to supportive services necessary for them to remain independent and in their own homes. The position requires a knowledge of supportive services and other resources needed for the population of the community. The Service Coordinator must demonstrate the ability to advocate, organize, problem-solve and produce results for the elderly and disabled served. The Service Coordinator will exhibit creativity, flexibility, and knowledge of various technology sources.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.
  • Two to three years of experience in social service delivery with senior citizens and non-elderly disabled individuals.
