Westminster Winter Park, a beautiful lakeside Active Living Community in Winter Park, has an open position for a Housekeeper (full time). We are a church‑related not‑for‑profit community service organization dedicated to providing services for older adults. This is a full‑time position that requires flexibility to work every other weekend.
Position Summary
The Housekeeper cleans residences, apartments, Health Center rooms and bathrooms, and residential common areas.
Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for cleaning homes, condominiums, studio apartments, health center rooms, and common areas.
- May work outdoors in varying weather and transfer between buildings.
- Responsible for sanitizing Health Center rooms after a move‑out or prior to a move‑in.
- Maintain dining areas cleaned and sanitized at least twice daily.
- Dust, sanitize, sweep, mop, and vacuum daily of assigned work areas.
- Remove garbage, including biohazard waste, from assigned areas (by contracted vendor).
- Perform cleaning duties/functions as contracted by independent residents.
Essential Qualifications
- High‑school education or equivalent and up to one month related experience or training.
- Experience and basic knowledge of working with older adults in a healthcare setting is desirable, preferably a minimum of six months.
