Role Overview

We are seeking an inspirational, professional, and highly skilled Teacher of English to join a high‐achieving department. The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 English, and may also take on a TLR responsibility for KS5 (A Level English Literature) if experienced.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver consistent, high‐standard lessons in KS3 and KS4 English.
  • Prepare and assess student work aligned to national curriculum standards.
  • Collaborate with specialist teachers to support the department's curriculum.
  • Possibly oversee A Level English Literature as a TLR, contingent on experience.
