Role Overview

The successful applicant will build on an established and rigorous curriculum across KS3-5, inspire the team to maintain strong student outcomes at GCSE and A Level, and lead whole school initiatives in literacy and reading.

Qualifications

  • Strong personal values of integrity, wisdom, and compassion
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to continually developing it
  • A strong and sustained track record of delivering strong outcomes at GCSE and A Level
  • Experience of developing and delivering an excellent English curriculum and ability to motivate the team to build on consistently strong student outcomes
  • A keen interest in developing leadership and management skills
  • Aspirations to lead whole school initiatives
  • Cognisance of current best practice and a research‑based approach to designing and implementing a highly impactful English curriculum
