Westminster City Council
Head of Housing Management
Salary up to £106,000

In Westminster our residents are really important to us. Working with them to shape our services, keeping them always at the heart of what we do, is a guiding principle for our leadership team. We are now seeking an exceptionalHead of Housing Management to join us and lead on the delivery of high-quality housing services for our diverse range of residents across the unique and complex landscape of Westminster.

This is a pivotal leadership position, reporting to the Director of Housing Services & Resident Engagement. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated leader focused on delivering the very best housing management services for our residents across the North and the West of the City. As part of this you will lead a large operational workforce ensuring that they are valued and working in an environment where they can thrive and be supported to develop themselves.

As we move to a more hyper local model of delivery you will use data intelligently to ensure that different neighbourhoods receive the services that work for them. This will include leading cross service virtual teams, ensuring our collective response to resident needs is joined-up, responsive, and inclusive. You will work closely with elected members, neighbourhood partners, and key internal services (such as Children’s and Adult Services), acting as a staunch advocate for our residents and tackling inequalities head-on.

The council was awarded a consumer grading of C1 by the Regulator of Social Housing in February 2025. This is the highest possible rating, and Westminster is the first London local authority to achieve it. Despite this grading we are not complacent, we continue to drive change, build new services and push to be the very best landlord we can be especially for the most vulnerable.

This is a challenging but exceptionally rewarding role for an experienced housing professional. Working as part of an innovative and creative management team this role provides a rare opportunity to build on achievement, drive transformation and change and make a real difference to people’s lives.
