Responsibilities
- Support the administration of Building Safety Levy processes, including determining levy chargeability and liability, issuing levy determination notices and payment certificates, and arranging spot checks.
- Receive payments and deal with requests for reviews from developers.
- Provide quarterly management information and revenue transfer to MHCLG.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Planning, Building Control) and external stakeholders (Building Safety Regulator, Registered Building Control Approvers, developers) to ensure clear communication in line with Local Authority procedures.
- Contribute to timely and accurate levy collection in accordance with relevant regulations and financial protocols.
- Participate in continuous improvement through feedback, collaboration, and process refinement.
