Westminster Academy has a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and dedicated Library Cover Supervisor to undertake supervision for independent learning within the library. The post holder will also manage the administrative coordination of daily cover and staffing logistics during the day. Primary responsibility will be held to ensure teaching continuity, student safety, and effective communication with all school stakeholders. The role is crucial for maintaining a positive, safe and productive environment within the library.

Our ideal Library Cover Supervisor will be a highly organised, detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and able to work under pressure to manage last-minute changes. If you are confident in managing student behaviour and excited to promote reading and library use, we would love to hear from you.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience of working in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong behaviour management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive and professional relationships with pupils, parents/carers and colleagues.
