Overview Of Role
Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, you will cover all Westmill’s procurement categories and supply chains. Key responsibilities include tracking and reporting on commodity markets like oil, rice, and wheat, managing continuous improvement projects, and driving cost down initiatives. You will input procurement transactions into the ERP system, support FX hedging strategies, and provide analytical input into purchasing decisions. Additionally, you will manage supplier onboarding and oversee procurement in key indirect spend areas. Your role also involves resolving invoice queries and optimising the Procure-to-Pay process.
The Right Person
You will have plenty of energy and drive, and the aptitude to work in a fast moving and dynamic team that is focused on delivering results. You will ideally have experience working in a Procurement or Supply Chain role, but this is not essential so long as you can learn quickly and have a can-do attitude. You will also need to be well organised and have proven analytical, report writing & communication skills.
