Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated day based Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of equipment and systems across the site through both planned and reactive maintenance activities. This role aims to minimise downtime and eliminate quality issues, thereby supporting continuous production and adherence to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs of plant and site service equipment
- Planned maintenance and maintenance requests
- Adherence to statutory checks
- Adherence to GMP
- Involvement in CI and Capital projects
- Upkeep of stores
- Upkeep of all Engineering Technical documentation
- Support and coach relevant employees in all aspects of shared maintenance
- Undertake training and upskilling programs as directed by business needs
- Provide effective equipment care
- Make decisions within the framework of site policies and compliance to customer requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have an appropriate engineering qualification combined with work experience in an FMCG environment. Your confident and collaborative approach, combined with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills, will make you an asset to our organisation.
