Overview Of Role
To meet the requirements of the production plan whilst maintaining health and safety, quality and food safety standards. To carry out duties in all departments, across all shifts. These include retail line operation, packing station in Noodles. It is a key element that this role is fully flexible, both in roles and departments in which they work, hours that are worked and shift pattern. This role contains work at speed and requires a diligent person prepared to take responsibility for the product that they are packing.
Key Accountabilities
- Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures ensuring that the work environment is safe at all times.
- Comply with all Food Safety and quality policies and procedures.
- Diligent in recognising unsafe conditions and actions and escalating to Team Leader and/or Site Shift Manager using correct procedures.
- Complete technical paperwork as per audit requirements.
- Ensure hygiene/GMP are maintained in line with BRC standards (clean as you go).
- To run the production lines in the most efficient manner in order to hit the daily production plan. Any faults/downtimes to be communicated to a line technician/line manager.
- Attending team briefs or any other manufacturing meetings as required.
- Responsible for changeovers, equipment and process control checks, including packaging equipment.
- Ensuring CCP checks and SIC recording is done according to procedures (downtime and waste).
- Printing and verification of product outer labels.
The Right Person
- Knowledge and experience in a Food Manufacturing environment.
- Experience/Knowledge of stock control processes (ideally with WMS systems).
- Basic food hygiene knowledge (desirable).
- Manual Handling (desirable).
- GCSE standard Maths & English competency.
- H&S qualification (desirable).
