The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shift‑Based Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of equipment and systems across the site through both planned and reactive maintenance activities. This role aims to minimise downtime and eliminate quality issues, thereby supporting continuous production and adherence to quality standards.

As a Shift‑Based Engineer, you will be part of a team that ensures compliance with all statutory and legislative requirements. You will play a crucial role in delivering the Site Engineering Strategy and executing planned preventive maintenance programme in line with our manufacturing plans to drive site wide performance improvements.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have an appropriate engineering qualification combined with work experience in an FMCG environment. Your confident and collaborative approach, combined with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills, will make you an asset to our organisation. You will be multi‑skilled with an electrical bias, have experience in fault finding on PLCs, and possess pneumatic and hydraulic experience. You will have the ability to work within a team and independently, demonstrating consistent delivery to both internal and external customers.
