The Opportunity
We have a unique, exciting opportunity for a Supply Planner to work across our diverse international supply chain, where you will be responsible for a designated set of suppliers ensuring stock levels are maintained in-line with working capital & service targets. You will work closely with several different departments, including Demand Planning, Customer Services & Logistics to understand potential spikes in demand where you will have to proactively review and mitigate potential risks to stock and ensure timely intervention, escalation, and communication. You will also have a key role in supporting various projects within the business such as NPD launches, ERP optimisation, SKU rationalisation and min/max stock level reviews, as well as providing insight leading to optimised inventory, cost saving initiatives and improvement of supply chain efficiency. You will need to have a wealth of supply chain and planning knowledge, plus the experience and ability to demonstrate a track record of achieving targets, using KPI’s to improve processes within both the supply chain and planning function. In addition, you will need to have a strong commercial understanding and an excellent analytical mindset, being able to produce accurate information, interpret data, draw conclusions, and provide insight which will add value.
