About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive primary school family. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant setting supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing. You will work closely with class teachers to provide high-quality support both in and out of the classroom, helping pupils to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the learning and development of pupils across the primary age range.
- Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and support SEND needs.
- Assist the teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
- Promote positive behaviour and inclusive practice.
- Support pupils’ social and emotional wellbeing.
- Help to create a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment.
- Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress.
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Have experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
- Be patient, positive and supportive.
- Have good communication and teamwork skills.
- Be adaptable and able to meet the needs of different learners.
- Have experience working with children with SEND.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
- Hold a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant).
