We are looking for a dedicated and hard working Warehouse Operative with FLT experience or a valid licence to join our vibrant packhouse team. If you thrive in a fast paced environment and have a hands on attitude, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Safely load and unload lorries, ensuring goods are handled with care and accuracy.
- Operate FLT to move stock efficiently within the packhouse, in line with stock rotation procedures.
- Ensure stock is correctly located for storage or despatch.
- Wrap pallets securely and maintain orderly workspaces.
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping standards, including clearing away product, packaging, rubbish, sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces of production areas and general tidying of the packhouse.
- Support stock control and follow health & safety procedures.
- Valid FLT licence or substantial forklift driving experience (essential).
- Physically capable and comfortable working on your feet.
- Adaptable with a strong work ethic.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- £12.71 per hour, with a pay review after a successful 3-month probation.
- Monday to Friday, 6:00am – finish (4:00pm); Alternate Saturdays, 6:00am – finish (12:00pm).
- 28 days holiday (including bank holidays).
