We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Territory Sales Manager to join our growing Pet Wildlife division, managing and developing customer relationships across the South-West of England (Bristol, Cornwall, Devon and Gloucestershire).

Representing some of the UKs best-loved wildlife care brands, including strong Peckish, Natures Feast and Gardman, you will play a key role in increasing distribution, driving sales growth and delivering exceptional in-store execution across your territory.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive field sales professional who enjoys building long-term customer partnerships, identifying new business opportunities and delivering measurable commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with approximately 130 retailers, including garden centres, pet stores, country stores, farm shops and hardware retailers.
  • Drive sales growth and increase distribution across Westlands Pet Wildlife portfolio.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the territory.
  • Create and execute territory plans focused on delivering sustainable growth.
  • Develop retailer-specific promotional activity to maximise sales and return on investment.
  • Achieve annual sales, distribution and new product launch targets.
  • Build strong relationships with store owners, managers and key decision-makers.
  • Deliver outstanding in-store execution through merchandising, POS placement and display implementation.
  • Conduct product training sessions with retail teams to improve product knowledge and category performance.

Essential Skills Experience

  • Previous field sales, territory sales or account management experience.
  • Experience within the pet care, wildlife care, gardening, horticulture, DIY, FMCG or retail sectors would be advantageous.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer engagement skills.
  • Commercially minded with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, organised and proactive.
  • Strong planning and territory management capabilities.
  • Confident delivering product demonstrations and retailer training.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.

Essential Criteria

  • You will already be based in the South-West of England - regions spanning across Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset, and Wiltshire.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory.
