Due to exceptional growth, we’re seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Senior Brand Manager to lead the UK’s most loved wild bird care brand - Peckish. Westland Horticulture is a privately owned FMCG business, supplying gardening, wild bird and pet, and environmental products to major retailers, grocers, and independents. We build brands that add value, drive loyalty, and deliver commercial results.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll be the brand guardian and growth driver for Peckish. You’ll shape brand strategy, champion the consumer, and bring bold ideas to life in a multi-million-pound, high-growth category. This role offers real autonomy and the chance to make a visible impact.
Key Responsibilities:- Brand Strategy: Own and evolve the Peckish brand strategy to ensure it aligns with consumer insights, market trends, and business goals.
- Campaign Development: Lead the creation of integrated marketing campaigns, from insight to execution, across digital, social, PR, and in-store.
- Customer Collaboration: Represent the brand in key customer meetings and presentations – bringing brand plans to life for retail partners and supporting commercial teams with compelling sell-in stories.
- Innovation Leadership: Champion product innovation and renovation initiatives by collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Supply Chain teams.
- Performance Management: Monitor and analyse brand performance metrics (sales, market share, brand health), making data-driven decisions to optimize plans.
- Budget Ownership: Manage the brand budget, ensuring efficient allocation and maximum ROI across activities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver best-in-class brand activations.
- ~5+ years of experience in brand management or marketing roles within FMCG or CPG, ideally in pet or food sectors.
- ~ Proven track record of delivering successful brand campaigns and product launches.
- ~ Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- ~ Experience working with creative agencies and cross-functional teams.
- ~ Excellent project management and communication skills.
