We’re excited to recruit a "Catalogue/Creative Artworker" to support Westland Horticulture’s creative and marketing teams. You’ll play a key role in delivering visually engaging, brand-consistent artwork across catalogues, printed marketing materials, and digital platforms.
This fast-paced role requires collaboration with designers, buyers, product managers, and marketers to ensure all outputs are accurate, visually engaging, and brand-consistent. You will help bring the Westland brand to life across multiple channels, maintaining creativity, technical excellence, and brand integrity at every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare artwork layouts for seasonal and annual garden catalogues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create accurate, on-brand catalogue pages.
- Manage large volumes of product imagery, ensuring correct retouching, cropping, formatting, and alignment with product specifications.
- Build and maintain master templates and page grids for design consistency.
- Ensure all catalogue artwork meets print specifications (colour profiles, margins, bleed, resolution).
- Liaise with printers and deliver production-ready artwork under tight deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign (essential), Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Strong capability in preparing artwork for both print and digital platforms.
- Understanding of print production, CMYK/RGB colour management, bleed, trim, and pre-press standards.
- Experience managing large volumes of product imagery and structured content.
- Confident using templates, grids, master pages, and style sheets in a structured workflow.
- 2–5 years in a Graphic Designer, Catalogue Designer, or Magazine Designer role.
- Experience producing catalogues or multi-page publications preferred.
- Experience in retail or product-led environments, ideally in gardening, lifestyle, or FMCG sectors.
- Comfortable meeting tight deadlines during seasonal peaks.
This position is based full-time at our Alconbury Hill office (5 days per week). Due to the collaborative nature of the role, remote working is not offered, and we’re not considering freelance applications.
