Technical Assistant Project Manager - Water

Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Technical Assistant Project Manager (Water) – to be engaged on a contract basis, located in Reading; the role is Hybrid working with occasional office visits at client request.

Job Description:

The Technical Project Delivery will be responsible for managing the day-to-day planning and engineering initiatives for several engineering studies in their portfolio.

The tasks include understanding needs, developing relevant technical and commercial briefs, tendering documents, and activities associated with identifying issues, risks and opportunities that impact the successful delivery of the studies.

The work will be delivered in line with Thames Water adopted methodologies, processes, and standards. Delivery of the studies will utilize the expertise of various engineering disciplines whilst successfully managing stakeholders, and adhering to Thames Water Quality Assurance processes and procedures. Projects will be delivered within time, scope and budget.

The applicant must bring with them a strong engineering and project management background, especially in the field of water and wastewater projects.
