Our client is seeking an experienced and technically strong Senior LV Design Engineer to support the delivery of high-quality LV design solutions across a range of projects. This is a senior-level position offering the opportunity to lead complex electrical design activities, mentor engineering teams, and work closely with clients to deliver safe, compliant, and commercially effective outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to LV Design Engineers across all stages of project delivery.
- Support the development of practical, compliant, and client-focused LV design solutions.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Project Leads to monitor project progress, ensuring delivery within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Review and approve electrical schematics, design calculations, and technical documentation.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, helping to develop technical capability within the team.
- Attend client sites to assess existing LV assemblies and produce compliance and condition reports.
- Lead complex site migration projects, coordinating LV Engineers and site operatives to ensure safe and compliant execution.
- Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks while minimising disruption to client operations.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and technical compliance throughout all project activities.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience working as an LV Design Engineer.
- Proven track record delivering safe, reliable, and compliant LV assemblies.
- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to provide practical engineering solutions.
- Experience reviewing electrical schematics and carrying out design calculations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead teams and support project delivery in fast-paced environments.
- Collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
