Overview
Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Revit Designer (Piping) to support one of our major nuclear clients based out of West Cumbria or Warrington.
Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and maintain 3D piping models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Revit.
- Generate general arrangement, isometric, and fabrication drawings from piping models.
- Work closely with multi-discipline teams (mechanical, structural, electrical, and civil) to ensure model integration.
- Conduct clash detection and coordinate piping layouts with other disciplines.
- Ensure designs comply with nuclear industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
- Support design reviews, HAZOP/HAZID studies, and constructability assessments.
- Maintain configuration control and proper documentation of design data.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and best practices within the design team.
Qualifications
- HNC / HND / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Design, or a related discipline.
- Autodesk Revit training/certification (preferred).
- Nuclear-specific training (advantageous, but not essential β training can be provided).
