Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced Document Controller, ideally with a background in Nuclear or Defence, to be engaged on a contract basis, in Preston. Overview Reporting to the Manager of the PMO Business Unit the Project Document Controller shall take a leading role in delivering document control arrangements for a portfolio of projects, covering the full document lifecycle, from document creation, review and approval through to release, retention and retrieval. The individual will be responsible for ensuring the flow of project documentation in accordance with procedure and in support of project requirements. The successful candidate will support the project team in ensuring compliance with security and export control requirements for all documentation produced, whilst maintaining compliance to internal and external requirements for the control of documented information and records including integrated management system requirements, ISO standards such as ISO 9001, regulatory expectations and site license requirements. Required Skills Higher education (ONC, BTech, NVQ) in quality management, business administration or engineering. 2 years document control experience within a regulated industrial environment.
