Job Description
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to cultivate good relationships.
- Understanding of design and visualisation software such as AutoCAD beneficial but not essential.
- Experience of using a total station for setting out purposes.
- Understanding of project quality and health and safety requirements, including experience of writing risk assessments and method statements.
- Good analytical and judgement skills and the ability to develop budgets and track expenditures, including sub-contracting hours.
- Be able to use initiative and have the ability to set and meet deadlines.
- Ability to read and understand schedules and pricing documents and implement them successfully.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build morale among the teams and promote continuous improvement.
- Understanding of customer expectations and deliverables and the desire to produce good quality products.
- Experience of working in the nuclear industry beneficial.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of HNC level in civil engineering essential.
