C&I Commissioning Engineer

Westlakes Recruit are currently looking for several C&I Commissioning engineers on a permanent basis, to be based in the Bristol area.

Key responsibilities will be:

• Produce, Review and update the system documentation for operator instructions, human machine interface, safety and environmental, control logic design, as well as periodic testing.
• Commissioning of new machinery, testing and documentation.
• Particularly for Instrumentation and Control, performing the analysis for defining the C&I Functional Requirements of the system.
• Writing of the Instrumentation and Control Functional Requirements
• Specification of Detailed Functional Diagram (DFD; C&I logic diagram)
• Writing of the Functional Test Procedure and running respective tests and writing of system design manual part 5 (C&I logic description)
• Engage proactively with all stakeholders around the system in Edvance to ensure the delivery of a product meeting the requirements.

Qualifications:

• C&I, Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
• With a minimum of 2-3 years\’ experience in Instrumentation and Control design
• Knowledge of the EPR C&I design principles and C&I platforms
• Experience of producing design documentation and Test Specifications
• Proactive and confident in communicating with others, particularly those based in remote offices including France and Germany.
