Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for multiple Assistant Project Managers on a permanent basis in multiple locations across the Southwest. (Hybrid working will be supported)
Your Purpose:

  • Project Delivery: Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, meeting the highest quality standards.
  • Project Management: Provide exceptional project and programme management throughout the entire project lifecycle, from planning and execution to monitoring and closure.
  • Client Support: Assist clients in managing project costs, schedules, risks, and issues, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Reporting: Contribute to monthly reports, providing clear and concise updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Communication: Develop and utilize effective communication tools to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Continuous Improvement : Challenge existing processes and strive for continuous improvement, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.

What you can Bring:

  • Qualifications: Progress towards our possession of a Project Management Qualification (APM, RICS, or similar) is essential.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience with best practice Project Management techniques and methodologies.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of pre- and post-contract Project Management responsibilities, including planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Skills: Strong ability to manage projects from initiation to completion, with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Client Focus: Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
  • Security Clearance Requirement: Must hold security clearance at SC level.
  • Preferred Experience: experience in working with Government clients in both Defence and Central Government sectors.
