As a Work Week Manager, you will be working with the Sites maintenance and engineering teams to ensure that planned preventative maintenance and improvement works are effectively scheduled and executed. The successful applicant will support the provision of an effective & efficient work management process across all Services & Assets Teams. You will report to the CHP / Utilities Manager and be located at Springfields Fuel Site. This is an onsite role.
Key Responsibilities- Develop the annual maintenance cycle (including shutdowns) and develop the maintenance schedule content in order to drive improvements that impact plant and equipment safety, reliability and product quality.
- Co-ordination of all planned and improvement work to meet deliverables for allocated work packages.
- Schedule work to ensure that all activities support safe and reliable operation of the plant and maintain full compliance with agreed safety and environmental standards and expectations.
- Place orders for packages of work and day to day maintenance activities.
- Liaise with contractors/service engineers to ensure they are planned and booked on for their relevant task.
- Develop the plan for the allocated work package following the work management process.
- Chair the relevant Work Management meetings and issues packages of work to engineering and operational supervisors.
- Work together with the maintenance supervisors who will deliver the plan to a high standard.
- Monitor schedule performance to help assess prescribed metrics along with the supervisors.
- Incorporate lessons learned into future schedules and work toward continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of the Springfields Work Management Process or willingness to develop these skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Sites maintenance and engineering practices or willingness to develop these skills.
- To demonstrate experience and involvement in safely planning or executing work packages associated with engineering, maintenance and project work.
- Experience of Excel and planning software packages or willingness to develop these skills.
- Background in engineering and/or maintenance with an understanding of engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to lead meetings.
- Able to build good relationships with other supervisors/departments, customers (both internal and external) and suppliers.
- An engineering qualification.
- Experience using purchasing systems (SAP, ARIBA).
- Demonstrate a willingness for self-development and an enthusiasm for the role.
- High personal standards and expectations in their approach to work.
- Enthusiastic and flexible in their approach to work.
- Work in an operational plant.
- Support the training and development of new standards.
