About the role: As an Intern you will assist with the efficient day to day operation of the office, and support the work of management and other staff. You will report to Gillian Laughlin Fuller and be located at Springfield. This is a one year, paid internship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inquiries using a professional manner
- Greet internal stakeholders/advisors in a professional yet friendly manner
- Direct incoming inquiries to appropriate team members
- Reply to information requests with accurate information
- Assist with raising purchase orders, and matching invoices to purchase orders so that the budget holder can approve payment
- Update the fee tracker with information on a timely basis
- Update the tax team action list and proactively issue reminders for upcoming tasks
- Update and ensure accuracy of databases including contact names for VAT and CT compliance
- Assist with preparation of withholding tax clearance applications for review, maintain records of clearances received
- Provide secretarial and administration support to management and other staff
- Use computer systems, word processing, spreadsheets (can perform complex functions), databases etc to prepare reports, memos, and documents to support the wider tax team
- Draft minutes of meetings with internal stakeholders/advisors for review
- Undertake role specific training such as document control, SAP etc.
