About the role:

As a Market Researcher you will support the commercial and strategic functions of the business by delivering timely market intelligence, maintaining key commercial tools, and coordinating industry engagement activities. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

You will report to the UAM Senior Commercial Manager and be located at Springfields.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Intelligence & Industry Monitoring
    • Produce a weekly nuclear industry news publication, synthesizing insights from articles, reports, and multimedia sources to keep internal stakeholders informed of key developments.
    • Conduct ongoing research into global nuclear market trends, policy changes, and competitor activity.
  • Commercial Data Management
    • Maintain and update the \’Price Hub\’ spreadsheet, ensuring accurate tracking of current, long-term, monthly, and transactional pricing data.
    • Refresh and manage associated visual dashboards and charts on a weekly and monthly basis.
    • Take analysis to inform commercial decision making process.
  • Company Intelligence Tracking
    • Update the \’Company Hub\’ database with relevant news, strategic developments, and operational updates for key industry players and partners.
  • Conference & Stakeholder Engagement Coordination
    • Organise conference schedules for internal teams, including outreach to external stakeholders, scheduling meetings, and managing logistical arrangements. Lead the organisation of networking events such as the WNA Pub Walk, including stakeholder communications and event logistics.
    • Prepare briefing materials and meeting pointers to support effective engagement.
  • Publication Summaries & Strategic Briefings
    • Summarise key market publications including CMOs, UMOs, EMOs, and financial calls, providing concise and actionable insights for internal use.
  • Contractual & Commercial Support
    • Support the management of the EUP (Enriched Uranium Product) agreement, including drafting and issuing notices, verifying calculations, and maintaining tracking documentation.
    • Assist with contract review and editing, including tailoring agreements to align with internal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\’s degree in Law or Economics or a related field.
  • At least one year experience in market research, data analysis, or a similar role. Experience in front-end uranium market. Specifically trading of uranium, conversion and enrichment.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
