As a Payroll Analyst you will support end-to-end UK payroll processes in collaboration with an external payroll provider, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and delivery. You will report to the Manager, Global Payroll and be located at Springfields.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end UK payroll processing (in cooperation with external payroll provider)
  • Review and validate payroll outputs (e.g., gross-to-net reports, payslips, time & attendance data)
  • Ensure compliance with UK payroll regulations, including PAYE, National Insurance, HMRC requirements, and RTI submissions
  • Support year-end payroll activities (e.g., P60, P11D) and statutory reporting obligations
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including deductions, benefits, and pension contributions
  • Support pension administration, including auto-enrolment and employer/employee contributions
  • Perform payroll reconciliations and assist in audits
  • Investigate and resolve payroll-related queries (salary, tax, benefits, pensions)
  • Prepare standard and ad hoc payroll reports for Finance, HR, and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy across systems (e.g., SAP / SuccessFactors)
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with payroll vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvements and documentation

The role is based in the UK with an option to work remotely, and the split between office and remote will be agreed based on current needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in UK payroll
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll regulations, including PAYE, National Insurance, HMRC reporting, and pensions
  • Experience supporting end-to-end payroll processes in a complex or international environment
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., data validation, reconciliation)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
