Springfields Fuels Ltd has been a global leader in nuclear fuel manufacturing for over 75 years. Role
As a Spare Coordinator you\’ll manage spare parts requests, maintain inventory, coordinate logistics, and ensure delivery to support maintenance operations. You\’ll work with other teams, suppliers, and customers to keep everything running smoothly. You will be based onsite at Springfields Fuels Ltd, the UK\’s leading nuclear fuels manufacturing site. You will report to Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process spare parts requests and quotations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using a CMMS system.
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm availability, delivery dates, and pricing.
- Coordinate packing and shipping, including documentation and customs paperwork.
- Respond to customer needs and resolve issues related to orders.
- Work with technical teams to identify correct parts and gather technical information.
- Support forecasting and planning for spare parts demand.
Qualifications
- You\’re comfortable writing emails and documenting information.
- You\’ve used systems like ERP or inventory management tools to manage parts or materials.
- You can keep track of multiple tasks and follow up on details.
- You\’re able to identify issues and take steps to resolve them quickly.
