As an E&I Supervisor, you will oversee electrical and instrumentation work, supporting maintenance and project delivery while ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance. You will report to the Assistant Plant Manager and be located at Springfield Fuel Site.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate planned, preventative, corrective and reactive E&I maintenance activities.
  • Ensure maintenance is delivered in accordance with schedules, KPIs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee calibration, fault-finding, diagnostics, and repair of electrical LV distribution systems, control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA), and instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature, level, analysers, etc.).
  • Ensure accurate completion of maintenance records and asset management systems (e.g., Maximo).
  • Promote a strong nuclear safety culture within the team.
  • Lead and participate in safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Ensure all personnel are competent, trained, and authorised for their roles.
  • Conduct performance reviews, mentoring and identify training and development needs.
  • Ensure adequate resources, tools, and spares are available.
  • Coordinate plant outages, shutdowns, and project installations.

Qualifications

  • Leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in high-integrity, safety-critical environments.
  • E&I background in industry to work towards a site electrical authorisation.
  • Technical expertise in electrical systems and standards (e.g. BS 7671, IEC standards), control and instrumentation systems.
  • Knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks (COMAH, ONR, HSE).
