About The Role

As a Commercial Manager UK D&WMS, you will be responsible for driving the sales process to identify customer needs and challenges with the support of the Account Team. Leading the capture team, you will collaborate with operational teams to develop technical solutions, delivery models, and value propositions before the RFQ is released. You will also participate in creating winning proposals and manage negotiations to finalize contracts. You will report to the Sales Director and be based at Springfields.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed product-based targets: OE, margin as sold, pipeline growth, win/loss ratio.
  • Lead opportunity development from identification to contract closure, building agreements with local stakeholders.
  • Maintain technical and sales knowledge to support the product portfolio and facilitate interactions with customers during sales processes.
  • Oversee capture strategies, including bundling opportunities and cross-product coordination to present customer-oriented solutions.
  • Negotiate with clients through to contract signing, ensuring teamwork and alignment with all relevant WEC stakeholders.
  • Coordinate negotiations with consortium partners when applicable.
  • Manage opportunities and data within the customer relationship management tool.
  • Lead LOA and offer processes, presenting and securing buy-in from key stakeholders to meet targets and customer needs.

Qualifications

  • 7 years of experience with Nuclear Utilities, especially in Outage & Maintenance, site modifications, or operational roles at nuclear plants.
  • Self-starter with business development skills.
  • Customer-facing experience, preferably with Belgian Nuclear Utilities or similar relationships.
  • Effective communicator, well-organized, and deal-oriented.
  • Knowledge of nuclear plant operations and buying processes.
  • Fluent in English and French; Dutch is a plus.
