Quality Systems Engineer

As a Quality Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving the Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring effective quality management processes, regulatory compliance, and the consistent application of best practices across the business. You will support and conduct internal audits, provide quality-related training and coaching, and promote a strong nuclear safety culture. Working collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, provide guidance on quality and compliance matters, and help drive operational excellence and employee engagement. This role offers a high degree of autonomy while supporting both business performance and your ongoing professional development. You will report to the Management Systems Quality Manager and be based at Springfields Fuels Ltd, located at the Springfields site near Preston. Responsibilities: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the quality management system and make recommendations for improvement to ensure that core operations and project activities comply with the relevant procedures and QA arrangements. Lead / participate in inspections / audits in support of Site Audit Programme. Support the ongoing development of the Site Audit Programme. Support and actively participate in the Site Management Systems transformation project. To interact and influence QA arrangements at all levels in the organisation. Deliver activities in support of the Site Corrective Action program including reporting non-conformances, implementation of corrective actions and supporting investigations. Ensure compliance with the requirements for Organisational Capability including nuclear baselines and the management of organisational change. Support delivery of Management Review activities.Provide advice and support to records management activities.Prepare summary reports / metrics in support of EHS
