As Operations Supervisor you will work in partnership with leaders, key stakeholders, and the Engineering and Production Teams to coordinate the safe, efficient and effective operation of plant processes and facilities. You will work closely with technicians, operators and other operational staff to organise, monitor and supervise day-to-day operations across the facility. Your experience will also provide operational and technical support to department leaders and managers. You will ensure all personnel follow operational procedures, quality requirements and safety standards while delivering production targets and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, prioritising, assigning, supervising and reviewing all operational activities related to plant performance and production delivery.
  • Developing and maintaining operational schedules to meet production and business requirements.
  • Managing operational issues, including responding to abnormal plant conditions or out-of-hours events.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of operational policies, procedures and standards.
  • Coordinating training and development in operational processes, safety procedures and best practices.
  • Planning daily activities and delegating tasks to operators, technicians and other professionals.
  • Monitoring plant performance and ensuring operational efficiency, reliability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimise safety, quality, and productivity.

  • Ability to identify operational issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Competence in planning and coordinating operational schedules and resources.
  • Analyse data and drive performance improvements.
  • Competency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
