The Nuclear Fuel Logistics Business Development Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining and operating the Global Logistics Nuclear Fuel Logistics Business Development strategy and process. This position will include primary responsibility for Relationship Management of the key global strategic nuclear fuel transport suppliers and excellent interpersonal relationship skills are required to manage internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Lead the Global Logistics Nuclear Fuel Logistics Project Management program from inception to operational execution, ensuring project outcomes and deliverables (cost estimates, quotations, proposals) are met in a timely manner and align with quality standards.
- Manage relationships between Westinghouse Nuclear Fuel project managers requiring transportation, packaging, and regulatory services, ensuring early inclusion of Global Logistics (GSCS) in planning and contracting.
- Coordinate with Nuclear Fuel Transport representatives at fabrication sites and provide scope requirements for all projects.
- Prepare and communicate project milestone updates and risks to stakeholders.
- Support Global Logistics Category Leads and Nuclear Fuel Transport Project Managers with strategic guidance.
- Manage workload, resource allocation, and resolve obstacles up to operational execution.
- Interface with external customers to support business unit leaders.
- Provide LOA input for logistics scope, costs, and supplier options.
- Create scope language for nuclear fuel sales contracts.
- Review the Nuclear Fuel Business Plan to identify transportation and regulatory needs, and align with the Global Logistics Support Plan.
- Manage risk assessments for Nuclear Fuel Transport projects.
- Advise on global sourcing and supplier management for nuclear fuel transport activities.
- Assist in creating supplier contracts and agreements.
Who you are:
- BA/BS in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- At least 3 years of procurement or global transport experience.
- Strong negotiation, market analysis, and project procurement skills.
- Experience with vendor management and contract administration.
- Ability to analyse quantitative data and draw conclusions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to resolve disputes professionally.
- Teamwork and self-direction skills.
- Creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools.
- Willingness to travel 10%.
