Production Operator

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for the department\’s production output in accordance with the MRP schedules.

Work according to instructions provided by Line Managers, Production Coordinator, and Management to meet the company\’s values and mission statement.

You will report to the Team Leader and be based at Springfields.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Refer to quality procedures.
2. Have experience in machining, fabrication, and/or metal parts manufacturing.
3. Read drawings and follow work instructions.
4. Be familiar with NCR processes.
5. Understand MRP requirements.
6. Be familiar with tooling, jigs, and acceptance fixtures.
7. Confidently use micrometers, verniers, and digital measurement equipment.
8. Operate equipment relevant to your work area.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with CNC machining is essential.

• Update daily tick lists and charts within specified timeframes.
• Assist colleagues with quality issues as needed.
• Report quality problems to the Team Leader or Production Coordinator.
