You will manage projects within the ESS organisation, implementing design changes and providing detailed engineering support for operating plants. The Advanced PM will be responsible for all project management processes on high complexity, high revenue projects. Example disciplines include Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Structural, Thermo/hydraulic, piping), Field Services, Software, and Process Improvement. You will report to the Manager of Projects. While this position is remote, it will be focused on our Norwell, MA facility.
You will complete all aspects of the planning process, including authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines. Following the project plan, you will adhere to department protocols for acquiring team members to complete the work. Manage all project aspects including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and partners. Interpret and communicate project/contract requirements and changes to teams, following an integrated change management process. Coordinate project communications to keep team, customer, and partners informed of status. Maintain project databases and procedures for efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation. Close the project by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems/tools. Perform final project quality assessments and report outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related technical discipline.
- An advanced degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience leading teams.
