We are searching for a talented, career-minded Security Team Leader for a large innovation campus in Sandwich, Kent. This 24/7 role suits an experienced SIA licensed Security Officer, Security Supervisor, or Shift Security Lead ready to step into a leadership position overseeing patrols, CCTV operations, incident response, and shift-based security delivery.
The Role:
The Security Team Leader oversees daily shift operations across a large, multi-tenant site with constant footfall and critical infrastructure. This position requires sharp decision making, strong leadership, and unwavering vigilance.
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid SIA SG or DS licence
- Minimum 1 year security experience
- Strong communication, customer service, and organisational skills
- Competent with CCTV, access control, and Microsoft Office
- Physically capable of patrols, rapid response, and equipment handling
- Full clean manual driving licence
- Desirable: CCTV licence, BTEC Level 3 Control Room Supervision, 3–5 years’ experience, enhanced first aid.

The successful candidate will operate from a state-of-the-art control room within a busy, high footfall campus home to scientific, technical, and professional organisations. It’s a role suited to someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being at the centre of operations.

- Security Operations - Patrols, CCTV monitoring, alarm response, incident management, and ensuring compliance.

- Reporting - Accurate logs, incident reports, and liaison with internal teams and external authorities.
