To ensure that all residents are aware of the activities that can be offered within the Home.
To encourage residents to participate in the activity programme and that this is documented.
To ensure that all grades of staff are aware of the activities programme and that other members of staff co-operate in the running of the programme.
To conduct questionnaires amongst the residents and/or relatives on a bi-annual basis, to gain feedback on the types of activities that are running and to gain information regarding the planning of future activities. To then relay this information back to the Home manager.
To attend training sessions relevant to activities sessions and the well-being of residents, and to cascade the information from these sessions to other members of staff, of all grades, within the Home.
To ensure that information regarding participation in activities is documented for each resident in the activities folder.
