Role Details:
Reporting to the Mine Production Superintendent at St Ives, you will be responsible for working within a group to implement and maintain Goldfields Innovation & Technology pipeline projects.

This role is offered on 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.

About the role:
- Routine inspections of machinery and fixed plant and carry out preventive measures and condition reporting
- Fault-finding, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of the communications networks. Experience using Spectrum Analyzer and OTDR necessary
- Design, repair, and Installation of Operational Technology and Systems onboard Surface Mining Equipment. , Wenco fleet management, 2way Radio and collision awareness systems
- Design, repair, and installation ofcommunications equipment on Trailers, including: 4G LTE, MW network links, Fibre Optics, Structured Cabling
- Programming Motorola Digital Radios
- Commissioning of new communication technology introduced to the site
- Recording all relevant information into goldfields CMMS- AMT/SAP as required
- Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
About you:
- Previous experience in radio communications, telemetry networks and maintenance in surface and underground mining environment
- Open cabling ticket with fibre endorsement, structured cabling and coaxial is desirable
- Tertiary qualification in IT, Communications and or Instrumentation is desirable
- WA βAβ Class Electrical Workers License β Highly Desirable
- Current manual C Class Driverβs License
