Gold Fields are seeking experienced Electrical Communications Technician to install and maintain underground fixed plant network infrastructure, providing technical support, installation and commissioning of communications equipment and new technology.
Located at St Ives Mine, in Kambalda, Western Australia, this position operates on 8 days on, 6 days off roster. FIFO is available from Perth, or residential options from Kalgoorlie or Kambalda with daily bus transportation provided.

About You
- WA “A” Class Electrical Workers License – Highly Desirable
- Current manual C Class Driver’s License
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in radio communications, telemetry networks and maintenance in surface and underground mining environment
- Open cabling ticket with fibre endorsement, structured cabling and coaxial is desirable
- Tertiary qualification in IT, Communications and or Instrumentation is desirable
