Job Responsibilities:
- Clean all assigned rooms, paying close attention to surfaces, floors, and en-suite bathrooms.
- Maintain and replenish all cleaning products.
- Follow hygiene and infection control procedures at all times.
- Ensure equipment is clean, well-maintained, and stored properly.
- Adhere to Health and Safety procedures, meeting all company standards related to quality, cleanliness, infection control, and safety.
- Maintain public areas and staff facilities to company standards.
- Report maintenance issues immediately and follow up as required.
- Handle residents\’ laundry, including washing, drying, ironing, and returning in a timely manner.
- Sort, label, and store clothing and linen safely.
- Operate laundry equipment (washing machines, dryers, irons) safely and efficiently.
Candidate Requirements:
- Pro-active and positive attitude, with a caring nature and team spirit.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of Health and Safety, Infection Control, and COSHH.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Legal right to live and work in the UK.
