The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

Location: Meaodwhill Care Home, Castleford Close, Borehamwood, WD6 4AL.

Hourly rate: Up to £13.50 per hour, plus a 50p per hour night and weekend enhancement.

Hours: 39 hours per week.

Shifts: Night and day shifts available across Monday to Sunday.

Job Type: Permanent.

About the role:

  • Support our residents with their daily activities, including assisting a resident to wash and dress in the morning, developing their individual care plan or helping them choose their favourite meal.
  • Be a friend whom residents can rely on to champion their dignity and independence.
  • Support them to live happy and healthy lives.
  • Communicate effectively, take on responsibility, prioritise your workload and keep accurate records.
  • Help with other activities such as serving food and helping residents to eat and drink.
  • Work in a team, be kind and build relationships with our residents, their relatives and team members.

About you:

  • The right to live and work in the UK.
  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care or equivalent or higher qualification.
  • A caring nature, positive attitude and the ability to work in a team.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a team and take initiative.
  • Previous experience of working within the adult care sector.
