Westfield Primary Community School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and committed midday supervisory assistant to join our friendly lunchtime team. Our school is committed to giving our children the best chances and provides excellent standards of care.

General duties will include supervising the children whilst they are eating their lunch, as well as cleaning duties. Applicants would need to contribute to the provision of a safe and stimulating play environment and to oversee the safety, welfare and good conduct of the pupils during the midday break period. First Aid training will be provided.

The position is for 7.5 hours per week, working 1.5 hours per day, term time only. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We require the successful applicant to undertake an enhanced Criminal Record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This post is subject to the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009 and as such shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a Disqualification Declaration. Any information supplied will be discussed at interview.
